The La campagne Tropicana resort in Ibeju Lekki was a beehive of activities recently when it hosted entertainers from over 30 African countries to three days of non-stop music, dance and celebration.
The African International Music Festival, which hosted top musicians like Adekunle Gold, Falz, Sunny Nneji, Dede Mbiaku, Ara, Paul Play Dairo, among other A-list acts from many African countries, according to the thousands of fun lovers that thronged the festival, was one that would be remembered for a very long time, owing to the unforgettable experiences that they witnessed first hand.
Speaking to Friday Treat, the covener of the festival, Ambassador Wanle Akinboboye, “The festival is a celebration of the cultural and musical diversity that Africans enjoy. The event is one of its kind because it is the only musical event that hosts almost all African countries. We are happy ton give our patrons a one in a lifetime experience such that is found here”, he said.
The yearly event is gradually becoming one of the most anticipated on the Afican continent.
