THE management of the Ministry of Information and Communications in Kogi State has been urged to comply with the requirements and policies of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) holistically.
The Commissioner of Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, gave charged during the management meeting he held with high ranking civil servants and heads of departments of the ministry in Lokoja on Monday.
The commissioner said the compliance is in the best interest and for the well-being of the entire state, and also to block leakages in the income and expenditure of the state.

While reiterating strict compliance, Fanwo added that it will enhance the manifestation of the blueprint of the ‘Let’s Do More’ peomises of Governor Yahaya Bello aimed at the rapid development Kogi State.
“All payment of services to be rendered by parastatals and departments in the ministry must be paid into the purse of Kogi Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS),” Fanwo said.
He also promised to interface with the KGIRS for easier working relationship and for the actualisation of their respective targets.
