Key differences between iPhone 16,  iPhone 16e

When choosing between the iPhone 16e and iPhone 16, several factors set them apart.

The iPhone 16e is a great budget-friendly option, while the iPhone 16 offers more advanced features, better photography, and improved connectivity. Here are key differences between the two phones:

1. Price – The iPhone 16e is $200 cheaper, starting at $599, while the iPhone 16 starts at $799.

2. Design – Both have a similar design, but the iPhone 16e brings back the notch, whereas the iPhone 16 features Dynamic Island. The 16e comes in only black and white, while the 16 offers more color options.

3. Display – Both have a 6.1-inch OLED screen, but the iPhone 16 is brighter, reaching up to 2,000 nits outdoors, while the 16e peaks at 1,200 nits.

4. Performance – Both use the A18 chip, but the iPhone 16 has a five-core GPU, while the 16e has a four-core GPU. The 16 also supports mmWave 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and UWB, which the 16e lacks.

5. Battery Life – Apple claims the iPhone 16e has a more power-efficient modem and a bigger battery, potentially lasting longer than the iPhone 16.

6. Charging – The iPhone 16e does not support MagSafe charging, while the iPhone 16 does and charges faster wirelessly.

7. Cameras – The iPhone 16 has an additional 12MP ultra-wide camera and features like Cinematic mode, Action mode, and Spatial Video, which the 16e lacks.

8. Extras – The iPhone 16 supports MagSafe accessories, has better front and back glass for durability, and includes touch-sensitive Camera Controls, which are absent in the 16e.
