Kano State Government has promoted 140 workers in the mainstream of the civil servants in the month of May 2021.
Making the assertion, the State Chairman of the civil service commission, Mr Bello Mohammad Kiru disclosed this today shortly after the routine commission meeting for senior staff promotion exercise and disciplinary cases held at the conference hall of the commission.
Kiru enjoined all and sundry staff of the commission to resume work fully as directed by the state government to ensure effective service delivery at the commission, chairman emphasised.
He, however, noted with appreciation the zeal and commitment showcase by the staff of the commission expecially during the luckdown and stay at home directives and hope the tempo would be sustained now that there is no any restrictions to work.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary of the commission, Mr Mohammad Adamu musa expressed delight for the cordial relationship among members of the commission with out any rancour or hitch despite some of the technical challenges facing the commission.

He then urged them to eschew and continue with the good work while the management is working on modalities to address some of the notable challenges bedevilling the smooth running of the commission end course.
Mr Adamu also charged the department responsible for the brief and other materials for the commission meeting to make it available prior to the date of the meeting for validation and scrutiny purpose.
