Just in: Deputy senate president, Ekweremadu, in EFCC custody

THE operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have taken the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, into custody.

A source close to the anti-graft agency said he was held by the anti-graft since 9 a.m., Tuesday morning.

The reason for his arrest was, however, not disclosed.
