Reigning unified world heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, on Saturday officially presented his IBF, WBA, WBO, and IBO titles to President Muhammadu Buhari.
It will be recalled that Joshua had in a rematch last December in Saudi Arabia defeated Andy Ruiz by unanimous decision, six months after he lost to the Mexican-American by a knockout in the seventh round.
The 30-year-old boxer prostrated before President Buhari, during the meeting in line with the tradition of the Yoruba cultural group.

He also took some selfies with the President during the meeting.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama and his Trade and Investment counterpart, Adeniyi Adebayo, were also at the meeting.
Others included the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa; and Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the UK, Justice Adesola Oguntade, among other dignitaries.
Joshua restored pride in the bout tagged ‘Clash in the Dunes’ on December 7, 2019, in Saudi Arabia when he beat Ruiz to reclaim the four belts he lost to the heavy puncher in New York in June 2019.
