Is this gonorrhoea?

I recently had an unprotected sexual encounter with a lady whom I met during my last vacation. Two days after the event, I started to pass pus from my penis with some painful urination. I quickly rushed to a nearby chemist where I was given some injections. Although the pain reduced, I am still passing pus two weeks after the incidence. Some of my friends believe that I have gonorrhoea which needs an expert medical attention. Kindly advise.
