Indefinite strike: Niger Gov, Organised Labour in closed-door meeting

The Niger State Government and organized labour are currently having a closed-door discussion with a view to halt the ongoing industrial action.

The Tripartite meeting is chaired by Governor Mohammed Bago.

Also present at the meeting are: Speaker of the House of Assembly, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), the Chief of Staff, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, the Commissioner for Justice, along  other senior government officials.

The organised labour was led by Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and other leaders of various Industrial Unions.
