The Zamfara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed shock over a statement made by the returning officer, Professor Ibrahim Magawata declaring the by-election in the state as inconclusive, saying it has lost confidence in him.
Addressing a press conference in Gusau, chairman, PDP committee on Bakura local government House of Assembly by-election in the state, Senator Lawal Hassan Daniya lamented that the returning officer has shown he is partisan.
“The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) returning officer in last Saturday’s by-election in the Bakura Constituency in Zamfara State, Prof. Ibrahim Magatawa’s statement revealed he is partisans.”
