IGP redeploys Force PRO Adejobi to Delta Command

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has approved the deployment of the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Olumuyiwa Adejobi, to the Delta State Police Command as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations (DCP Operations).

DCP Adejobi, who until his deployment served as the Force Public Relations Officer, was recently decorated with his new rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police following approval by the Police Service Commission.

According to the Force Headquarters, the redeployment is a strategic posting that places him at the helm of operations in one of the most operationally sensitive commands in the country.

As DCP Operations in Delta State, Adejobi will be responsible for coordinating security operations, tackling violent crimes, and strengthening police-community relations across the state, which remains a critical theatre in Nigeria’s internal security architecture.
