The wife of the Vice-Chancellor, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State, Dr Mrs Chinyere Esimone, has said she underwent surgery 25 times before she could be able to conceive.
Chinyere noted that she was operated for fibroid before she was able to conceive 11 years after her wedding to Prof. Charles Okechukwu Esimone.
Chinyere, spoke on Sunday, during a thanksgiving service at the Deeper Life Bible Church Headquarters, along Enugu-Onitsha expressway, Awka.
She described the moment she was delivered of her first child in 2014 and the quadruplets in 2018 as the visitation by God.

According to her, “the 11 good years, I was staying with my husband without a child was not an easy-going one for me, but be it that God gave me a wonderful and God-fearing man, he took upon himself and travelled with me abroad in search of a solution, which was not successful.
“Until 2014, while prayers were ongoing, my husband and I were introduced to a God-sent doctor, Professor Joseph Ikechebelu, who disclosed to me that my womb was stored with multiple fibroids. And that after the operation, I will testify to the glory of Almighty God, which by His grace resulted in my first son and the quadruplets being celebrated here today hallelujah,” she added.
Tribune Online gathered that the thanksgiving service was part of activities marking the first anniversary of the quadruplets.
She described her children as bundles of joy and prayed God to bless, prosper and equally use them to bring her and the world glory.
Her husband, Professor Esimone, said: “First I want to thank this great God of heaven because today we are marking the first anniversary of these special gifts from incomparable God.
“After eleven good years, he turned away our captivity. When men thought it was over, he, God, said it was not over.
“I stand before God to say there is no other God like him. Today I stand before him to say our joy is full. Today I stand to say this great God of heaven can never fail.”
In his sermon, Pastor Gowin Okeke urged those who are waiting for the fruit of the womb to emulate the patience of Chinyere and look unto God for the rest of the solution.
A reception for guests was also held at the Prof. Dora Akuyilli Women Development Centre Awka with over 500 Deeper Life worshipers in attendance.
Some dignitaries in attendance include Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr Nkem Okeke, Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe, Igwe Orizu, APC state chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike, his PDP counterpart, Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu, Hon. Emeka Aforka, clergymen, among others.
