Host community members fight during PIB public hearing

There was confusion on Thursday at Room 028, the venue of the public hearing on the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB), when a fight broke out among members of host communities producing Nigeria’s oil and gas.

The fight started when the members of  the host communities were called to the podium to make a presentation at the public hearing being held at the House of Representatives at the National Assembly Complex.

The identity of the individuals involved is yet to be ascertained.
