Published by

SAUDI Arabia has appealed to pilgrims performing the 2019 hajj to respect the rules and regulations of the holy land and abide by the supremacy of Saudi Arabia-aligned school of thought.

“Rulings under Saudi-supported school of thought take precedence on general activities over those of other countries or individuals while in the holy land,” the designated chairman of the two holy mosques, Sheikh AbdurRahman Bn AbdulAzeez Al Sudais, said during a meeting with the heads of hajj missions of various countries currently participating in the 2019 hajj in Saudi Arabia.

He assured pilgrims performing this year’s hajj of equal opportunity while in the holy land.

According to a statement by the head of Public Affairs of the Nigeria Hajj Commission (NAHCON), Fatima Usara, Sheikh AbdulAzeez Al Sudais appealed to the hajj missions to guide their pilgrims to remain focused on acts of worship, which is the main reason of their visit to the Kingdom, and not to be involved in any form of political activity.
