Hair business is most lucrative for women to venture into — Faith Osayi

A Nigerian hair entrepreneur, Mrs Faith Osayi, has stressed the need for youths and others in need of gainful trades to consider going into hair business.

This, she would not only better their personal economies, but will on the long run affect the national economy positively, “especially now that unemployment and loss of jobs have become big issues in both the Nigeria’s private and public sectors.

Osayi, the CEO of Mudizhairwholesaledeal, who the industry players have described as one of the highly-rated hair sellers in Nigeria, declared “hair business as the most lucrative business any woman can venture into, “in a recent media chat.

She said, with over a thousand retailers nationwide under her brand, she has slowly developed her brand as a household name in Nigeria, and via the social platform, Instagram, being her main hub for most business transactions. 

Oaayi, who said she started her hair business 14 years ago, informed that that her zeal for creativity and love for Indian movies propelled her to bring forth style to the average Nigerian woman.

However, she admitted that “the hair business is not an easy venture to undertake but if done with efficiency, hard work, and the grace of God, it will become very lucrative.”

When asked what are the challenges people who partake in the Hair Business might face, she said: “In all honesty, the most common problem I faced, is, the importation of the hairs I sell, and final delivery to customers, the processes for these steps are cumbersome.”

Osayi who referred to Nigerian women as the most beautiful ladies, added that her wigs have helped many women enhance their beauty, elegance, and style, while also informing that Mudizhairwholesaledeal has a large workforce of staff which referred to as not just employees, “but team members.”
