Governor Fayose
Fayose gave this assurance at the closing ceremony of the Corps’ Batch ‘A’ permanent orientation camp in Ise-Ekiti, Emure/Ise/Orun Local Government Area of the state.
The governor, who was represented by the Commissioner for Information, Mr Lanre Ogunsuyi, said that every Nigerian had the right to live anywhere in the country without any hindrance.
According to him, the spirit of oneness and brotherhood must be imbibed at all times by all Nigerians.
“The history of this country since independence, has clearly indicated the need for unity among the people.
“I strongly believe that all Nigerians can choose to live peacefully with one another at a time like this irrespective of our religious, ethnic and political backgrounds,” he said.
He advised the corp members to abstain from unholy acts such as cultism among other anti-social activities, which he said, were capable of damaging the good image of the scheme.
Earlier, the state Coordinator of NYSC, Mrs Eze Ukagha, called on the employers of labour in the state to accept corp member posted to them.
