A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr Umaru Oricha stated that Yahaya Bello’s victory in the just-concluded Kogi election was ordained by God.
He said this on Thursday while speaking with newsmen on the victory of gov Bello, and his Deputy Chief Edward Onoja.
Dr Oricha who is also Government House Administrator attributed the large Margin recorded at the just concluded polls as a sign of appreciation, acceptance and reward by the good people of Kogi state for the starling performance of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello in his first outing as the Executive Governor of the state.
Dr Oricha emphasized that “It is glaring to all and sundry that you have undoubtedly worked so hard to achieve this victory alongside your deputy governor, the entire All Progressives Congress (APC) family and every electorate in the state that took time to queue and vote for your victory saw your commitment and dedication towards rebranding Kogi State” he said.
He enjoined His Excellency, to further his zeal and zest to further developmental wonders in the state, as stated in his last four years for the betterment of the entire Kogi State.
Dr Oricha appealed to other contestants at the governorship race to join hands with the Governor in his concerted efforts at moving the state forward towards building one indivisible and United kogi state.
He commended the law enforcement officers on duty throughout the electoral process for displaying sound professionalism, urging them to sustain the feat achieved during and after the election.
