ONE of the notable landmark achievements of the Senator Abiola Ajimobi-led government in office, especially during his first term, was the installation of traffic / streetlights in some cumbersome and strategic junctions in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
This development brought some levels of decency and decorum to junctions, especially among motorists and the Okada (motorbike) riders.
Vehicular accidents drastically reduced atthose junctions.
But some of these traffic/streetlight have gone into extinction in recent times, thereby making those junctions to become dangerous spots in the city.
However, the installation of these traffic/streetlights should also be extended to other adjoining regions in the state.
After all, what is sauce for the goose, they say, is sauce for the gander.
