Gov Abiodun constitutes 51- man governor’s elders council
Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, on Friday, constituted a 51-man Governor’s Elders Council who are to act in a purely advisory capacity.
The elders Council include statesmen and women who have the requisite governance, business and political experiences necessary to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin, the constitution of the Council was part of the administration commitment to have all-inclusive and participatory governance, the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
Members of the Council comprises of critical stakeholders in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
They are Senator Biyi Durojaiye;/Prince Segun Adesegun; Senator Gbenga Kaka;Chief Muyideen Sabitu; Chief Segun Osibote;Chief Johnson Ogundeko; Chief Folorunso Elias; Alhaji Sarumi; Chief Rasheed Adenusi; Chief Bisi Rodipe; Chief Segun Aderibigbe; Dr. Olukoya Adeleke Adedoyin; Alhaji Dauda Afolabi Olokun; Chief Tolu Daodu;/Chief Adepegba Otemolu, ACP Lamidi Odulawa Rtd; Otunba Adekunle Orekoya; Chief James Dina; Chief Sam Durojaye; Senator Odujirin.

The release added that the Council’s responsibilities would be to make inputs to fulfil “the Building our Future Together” Agenda of the Dapo Abiodun administration and to ensure strategic allocation of resources to projects and programmes that will make the most impact on the citizenry, irrespective of party affiliations or any other sectional sentiments.
