Gombe NOA director dies at 59 one month to retirement

GOMBE State Director of the National Orientation Agency, (NOA), Alhaji Mato Yakubu Dukku is dead.

A press statement signed and issued by the PRO of the Agency in Gombe, Mohammed Danladi contained that the late Director died at the age of 59 on Monday night.

Mohammed Danladi in the statement further stated that the late Director died after a brief illness at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Gombe.

Checks at the NOA office in Gombe revealed that late Mato Yakubu Dukku was in the office on Monday but left around 11 am after he complained of been dizzy due to the medication he took for cold and catarrh.

An official of the Agency further disclosed that the condition got worst later in the evening of Monday and was rushed to the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe where he died barely one month to his retirement from service.

The late Mato Yakubu Dukku left behind a wife and 8 children and has been buried after the funeral prayers at the FTH Gombe on Tuesday.
