THE Gubernatorial candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Nasarawa state, Hon. Labaran Maku has said that only God’s grace, mercy and time would make him Governor and not party structure.
He was speaking to CAN leadership in Karu Local Government Area of state, disputing rumours making the round by some people that APGA as a party has no structures in the state to win the election, and he (Maku) has stepped down to pave way for his brother.
The former Minister of Information described such as part of political games that he expected, argued that party’s structures have never been a determining factor for winning an election, but ” it is God’s grace, mercy, chance and time that make every man attained any leadership position in life.

“look at the sky, what is the structure holding it? Or the earth itself with all the space there off is still standing without structure
“Moses in the Bible was a fugitive, but was chosen by God to deliver Israel, and he defeated King pharaoh who had well-established structures.”
Maku added that only God gives Victory to whosoever He wishes whether Christian or Muslim, it does not matter when the grace and mercy of God there.
According to him, he has never been endorsed by either the church or people to serve this nation in key positions he attained in life, urging Christians faithful to pray for him to be victorious as he assured to serve God if emerged.
