Mr Segun Awolowo, Executive Director/ Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC)
The Executive Director and CEO of Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Mr Olusegun Awolowo, has described the late former military governor of the old western region as a “father and leader” whose legacies were assured for the current and future generations of Nigerians.
Mr Awolowo, who is the grandson of foremost Nigerian leader and Premier of the old Western Region, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, said this when he paid a condolence visit to the residence of the late Gen. Adebayo in Lagos on Friday.
Mr Awolowo, who also spent some moment condoling with the aged widow of the late Army General, said it was his prayers that everything the former military governor stood for would not be allowed to be a waste.
“In respect of our late father and leader, your legacy is assured here on earth. We pray the good Lord will accept you. Rest in perfect peace,” Mr Awolowo wrote in the condolence register.
