THE Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN)’s Positive FM, Akure, has honoured some Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in various fields of human endeavour. One of them is a veteran journalist and a Muslim leader, Alhaji Ibrahim Kilani.

The occasion was presided over by a former deputy governor of Ondo State, Mr Omolade Oluwateru, who described Radio Nigeria as a pacesetter and a notable media house in the country.
While presenting the award to Alhaji Kilani, the director of the Ibadan zonal station of the FRCN, Alhaji Mohamed Bello, described the recipient as an enterprising, hardworking and diligent Nigerian.
He urged Alhaj Kilani not to relent in his efforts at rendering community services which he said earned him the award, the first ever to be presented by the radio station in Ondo State.
Responding, Kilani thanked the General Manager of the station, Chief Tunde Abiodun and his team for the honour done him.
He dedicated the award to Allah and the people of Akokoland in the northern senatorial district of Ondo State.
