This development was confirmed to the Nigerian Tribune by the Ogun State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Commander Akinwunmi Fasakin, on Sunday.

The FRSC boss confirmed that six people were in the vehicle when the unfortunate incident happened.

He explained that two out of the six occupants swam out of the river, while the other occupants died in the river.
