MR Okechukwu Osita Osadebe, son of the late highlife maestro, Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe, was Friday lost to the raging flood that has continued to devastate communities in Ogbaru Local Government Area, Anambra state.
Nigerian Tribune gathered the 18-year-old Okechukwu, was swept away by the flood in Atani, late Friday night but his body was found on Saturday morning.

According to the deceased mother, Mrs Amaechi Osadebe, Okey, as he was fondly called, was in the company of two persons when the flash flood swept him with no opportunity to swim out of danger as the current was too strong and turbulent.
The Ogbaru local government Chairman, Hon Arinzechukwu Awogu, who was at the family house to sympathise with the Osadebe’s family, regretted the losses the flood has inflicted on the people of the Local Government Area and urged the people to remain safety conscious, assuring that the flood situation would soon be over, stressing that caution should be the watchword for every resident as the flood lasts.
