Ahead of the 2022 Easter holidays, the Commissioner of Police, Delta State, CP Ari Muhammed Ali, has assured Deltans of a hitch-free celebration.
This was disclosed in a statement signed and made available to journalists on Thursday by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe.
To ensure a hitch-free Easter Celebration, Edafe announced a massive deployment of personnel across the state to provide adequate security before, during, and after the Easter celebration.
According to him, the effort is to ensure the protection of all residents in the state and the success of all activities lined up to mark the celebration.
“The CP directed that all Area Commanders and DPOs deploy men to all venues of the celebrations and other resorts centres, to avoid mischief-makers showing their ugly faces and causing any form of mayhem to law-abiding citizens and also to ensure proper supervision of their men deployed.
