The Deputy National Organising Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Alh Muhammad Sani Ibrahim has warned that Kaduna State Chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has violated the peace accord that was signed by candidates of all the political parties last week.
In a statement issued Saturday, Ibrahim also called on security agents to arrest the Director of Media and Publicity of PDP Campaign Council of Kaduna State, Mr Ben Bako for peddling hate speech and incitement.
The APC chieftain alleged that a video clip which had gone viral in the state showed Bako asking his party supporters to kill anyone who refuses to vote for PDP in the coming election, at a campaign rally in Kafanchan town in Southern Kaduna.
Ibrahim who is a former member of the House of Representatives said that Bako had accused everyone from Southern Kaduna who does not vote for PDP of sabotage, asking the people to ‘’do away with him.’’

The former lawmaker also said that the PDP spokesman asked his party supporters to resist the government’s decision to reinforce security in Southern Kaduna in order to ensure free and peaceful elections.
According to Hon Ibrahim, ‘’Ben Bako should be arrested because he has not only violated the peace accord but he is also calling for violence in the event that the election results do not favour his party. What he said in the video clip is beyond hate speech. It is a call to take up arms and security agents should not take this threat lightly.’’
The traditional title holder from Jema’a emirate of Southern Kaduna also asked the people of Kaduna State to be vigilant because ‘’what Ben Bako said at the rally is part of a wider plan to destabilise the state.’’
He described Bako’s outburst as the desperate act of a drowning political party which has seen defeat staring it in the face.
