The Zamfara State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has disclosed that peaceful sallah celebration is sacrosanct and deployed 485 personnel during Eid Kabir in the state.
In a statement issued on Sunday by the command Public Relations Officer, Mr Ikor Oche said Commandant Sani Mustapha has assured to provide maximum security during and after the sallah celebration in the state.
Sani Mustapha made this known when he presented the operation order designed for the Sallah coverage at the State Command Headquarters in Gusau.
He opined that the security and peaceful celebration of this year’s Eid kabir is sacrosanct.
He, therefore, reiterated that no stone will be left unturned during this holy festive period.
Commandant Sani Mustapha affirmed that the Corps in collaboration with other sister agencies, is poised to make Zamfara State a crime free State.
“Deployment has been made to all nooks and crannies of the State including perceived black spots”.
“All relevant units and Department have been efficiently galvanized to ensure a hitch free celebration”.
He warned that Zamfara State will never be a comfortable zone anymore for criminals and miscreants who intend to hibernate in the state.
“Saboteurs whose aim is to truncate the peace in the state during these periods should relocate as Zamfara State is no longer a safe haven for mischief makers”.
Commandant Sani Mustapha however enjoined the general public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious movement to relevant authorities.
Commandant Sani Mustapha therefore wishes all Muslim faithfuls in Zamfara State a happy Sallah celebration.
