Following the announcement of tomorrow, 30th March 2025, as Eid-ul-Fitr, the Senator representing the people of Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr Buhari Abdulfatai, has congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the 29-day holy fasting period.

Senator Buhari expressed gratitude to God for granting strength to every Muslim in the district to observe the fasting and other supplications throughout the holy month, in a release issued and made available to journalists this evening.

According to the lawmaker, the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan include experiencing the sufferings of the downtrodden, with the aim of understanding how to care for them and alleviate their poverty.

While identifying the act of giving to the needy as a vital lesson imparted by the month to every Muslim, Senator Buhari urged wealthy individuals to continue their philanthropic gestures towards the less privileged, not only during Ramadan but also beyond the holy month.

Senator Buhari prayed to God to accept all the activities of every Muslim throughout the holy month as acts of Ibadah. He also prayed for God to answer the prayers of all Muslims as a reward for their sincerity in worshipping Almighty Allah according to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad.

He wished all Muslims good health so that they may witness many more Ramadans and perform the necessary supplications for greater rewards, not only on earth but also in the hereafter.
