Edo APC Senatorial aspirant laments neglect of Edo central, promises better representation

AN All Progressives Congress (APC) Edo Central senatorial district aspirant, Chief Francis Inegbeneki has lamented the poor representation and neglect suffered by the people of Esan.

Inegbeneki who spoke when he visited the Enigies (high chiefs) of Esanland to seek royal blessings and express interest to contest for the senatorial ticket at the palace of His Royal Highness, Ziki Solomon Izuwaye, Ojeaga of Ujiogba assured the people of the zone of good and better representation if given the mandate to represent them come 2019.

He remarked that his mission to the National Assembly shall be anchored on a total redemption of Esan people from political wilderness and economic stagnation. It shall revolve around the seven major pillars I outlined.

He said: “I will be an accessible and responsible representative of the Edo Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, I have a passion for children, the youths, women, elders and the privileged members of the society.”

The senatorial aspirant also promised to influence law that will improve funding of education, capacity building for teachers, skill acquisition and adequate legislative support for entrepreneurship in the rural areas.

Despite the dark socio-economic and political clouds in Esan land orchestrated by past leaders and elected representatives, the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate in the 2014 election lost who narrowly to the People’s Democratic Party flag bearer, remarked that there is still hope for the people.
