The duo that make up Dirty denimz, Oluwaczar and Greezy, have dropped a new record, titled ‘I gotta win’. The brothers, who started making music from their family’s basement in 2009, have grown to become one of the fastest rising artistes with a new sound.
According to them, they find their uniqueness in an interesting world of truths and melodies and “the pages keep turning so what you can expect are very good vibes”.
The quarantine inspired single ‘I gotta win’ brings to life the dreams and inspiration of winning, while also giving a shoutout to Miami Heat (American Basketball team) who, at that time of recording, won the conference finals.
In a recent interview, Dirty Denimz said, “I Gotta Win’ brings that calm feeling and lyrical exposure of what becomes of the winner’s mentality. It’s a winners song and a true champions anthem that will be on the lips of anyone willing to go all out to win as well as those who have excelled and won. If you haven’t been a believer, this is a song to listen to and see that Dirty Denimz is a priced asset and should be protected at all cost.
“We have always wanted to make music that talks and feels your innermost feelings using different themes, melodies and figures of speech. Don’t get us wrong, Music to us is a feeling, if we feel like dancing, we cook up something danceable. If we are feeling pained we cook a song that describes our pain and even relate these songs to other people who might have similar issues. We are all connected one way or the other as humans.
To some, the duo (Oluwaczar and Greezy) are music artistes and businessmen but in the real sense, these are two brothers coming together to blend skills and talent to give the purest and unbiased forms of artistic expressions via music. They represent Hip hop, Afrobeats and above all very unique and good music. Some of their biggest influences are Tupac, Dr Dre, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Bob Marley, Fela and Kanye West.
