Declare state of emergency on security, NSCIA tells Buhari
The National Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare a state of emergency on security in Nigeria.
NSCIA said it was worried over the continue killings on a daily basis in Nigeria.
The Director of Administration of NSCIA, Alhaji Yusuf Chinedozi Nwoha, said this today at a press conference at the National Mosque which is also the headquarters of NSCIA, Abuja.
He said that Boko Haram does not represent Islam, he also said it is misleading to say that Boko Haram was created to eliminate Christians.
