Award-winning rapper and songwriter, Nicki Minaj, has showered praises on Nigerian music sensation, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, describing him as an incredible writer and melody maker.
Nicki Minaj, known for her versatility and global hits, made the statement on X on Friday while discussing her recent collaboration with the Afrobeats superstar.

Responding to a curious fan who asked about her reason for collaborating with Davido on her latest project, If It’s Okay, she highlighted the mutual respect between them, which, she said, makes working together an effortless and enjoyable experience.
The collaboration, she revealed, was driven by her desire to infuse an Afrobeat tempo and vibe into her music.
According to Minaj, she specifically reached out to Davido to achieve this unique sound, which continues to gain international acclaim.
