An Ogudu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos, on Friday, remanded Ololade Ajagbe, 19, in prison over alleged house-breaking and stealing.
Ajagbe of no fixed address is facing a two-count charge of breaking into a building to commit felony and stealing.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Donjour Perezi told the court that Ajagbe committed the offence on Nov. 2, around 7:15 p.m. at New Garage Motor Park, Ojota, Lagos.
Perezi alleged that the defendant broke into the room of Gbenga Awonuga.
He noted that the defendant entered into the house with intent to commit a felony.

According to him, the defendant stole two jean trousers valued N3, 000, a white T-shirt valued N2, 000 and hair cream valued N500.
The prosecutor said that the offence contravened Sections 287 and 308 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
Section 308 prescribes a three-year jail term for breaking and entering.
The defendant, however, pleaded guilty to the charge levelled against him.
Magistrate Bukola Mogaji ordered for his remand in prison and adjourned the case until Nov. 26, for facts and sentencing.
