Maiwada adjourned the case until June 25 for sentencing.

Earlier, the prosecutor, Mrs Ijeoma Ukagha Ijeoma, told the court that on May 22, one Rahila Caleb of Health Centre Karmo reported the case at the Karmo Police Station.

Ukagha said that the complainant, Ms Chimazie Okpara, reported the matter on May 18.

The prosecutor said that Opara got a commission of N1,000 after aiding an accused sale of the stolen Tab 7, valued at N55,000 to one Mathias.

The offence, he added, contravened the provisions of sections 80 and 167 of the Penal Code.
