Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta State
An Ijaw community leader in Delta State, Mr Mulade Sheriff, has appealed to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to give a special attention to oil and gas producing communities in riverine areas and ensure the development of coastal communities as the hope and source of revenue for the state.

Comrade Mulade made the call in Warri, when the campaign train of the governor visited Burutu Local Government Area.
He called on Deltans, particularly Ijaws, to, en-mass, vote for Governor Okowa in the coming general elections for a second term, noting that, “no alternative to Okowa.”
“We have no other alternative to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and Kingsley Otuaro.
“We will give them maximum support for continuity in the Government House till 2023 when an Ijaw man would take over as the next governor of our great state,” the activist enthused.
“It is imperative to state and appeal to the Delta State government led by Dr Ifeanyi Okowa,to allocate 30 per cent from state budget to develop oil and gas producing riverine communities in the state,” the activist enthused.
