Founder of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Adamimogo Outreach, Prophet Samuel Olu Alo, has called for prayers for Nigerians in foreign countries especially those in South Africa presently facing xenophobic attacks.
Prophet Alo, who condemned the attacks on Nigerians and other foreign nationals and the destruction of their businesses, said efforts must be made by Nigerian government to ensure safety of Nigerians in the country.
The cleric, in a statement in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, advised the Federal Government to continue to stress the need for cooperation with the South African government to address the situation.

“The Nigeria High Commission in South Africa should keep the records of Nigerians resident in the country and ensure they are well secured, protected and taken care off.
“All Nigerians living in the country illegally should be advised to regularise their papers and ensure that they are not engaged in businesses that will expose them to danger,” he said.
