Business registration procedures to be completed within 3 hrs in 2021 ― CAC

Published by

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) disclosed that the business registration process will be reduced to three hours before the end of 2021.

Speaking in Abuja, the Registrar General of the Commission, Garba Abubakar said the aim was to create an efficient system to aid registration procedures for business in the country.

He revealed that the registration of companies can now be done from the comfort of home without physically visiting CAC offices.

“You can now start and finish your companies registration and get your certificates without waiting for a courier company to deliver it”.

This is one of the many initiatives by the Commission to ease business registration processes in the country in recent times.

At the moment, business registration processes in Nigeria are fully automated limiting the need for physical visit to the Commission offices because of registrations.
