Leaders of the mainstream Delta All Progressives Congress (APC), hand in hand with Gogan is Good Governance Advocate of Nigeria (GOGAN), President Support Council (PSC) and Buhari Youth Organization (BYO), on Thursday, declared that President Muhammadu Buhari will be victorious come Saturday.
The mainstream APC and the other groups stormed the streets of Delta in a road walk to mobilise Deltans to vote for the re-election of President Buhari in the Saturday polls boasting that they were sure of victory.
Chairman of the mainstream APC, Chief Cyril Ogodo led the street walk across the 270 wards with the newly inaugurated the Buhari 4, 000 canvassers to sensitize Deltans and curry votes for Buhari and other APC candidates.
The street walk/campaign saw leaders and members of the Mainstream Delta APC across the 25 local government areas of the state simultaneously trooping out in their numbers dancing and sharing flyers and urging the electorate to vote President Buhari and APC.
Speaking at Evwreni town in Ward 8, the leader of APC in Delta State, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, charged Deltans to vote for Buhari, noting that the APC-led governments have brought a lot of development to the Niger Delta, nay Delta State.
While addressing the mammoth crown at Evwreni, Emerhor said that Buhari has done well and therefore deserved another four years to consolidate on his achievements.
According to him, Buhari needs more time to fix Nigeria and set it on the path of progress.
“On Saturday poll, every vote in Evwreni is for Buhari, because he has stood by us and has brought a lot of development to Niger Delta, Delta state and particularly the Urhobo nation, therefore he deserves our votes,” he pleaded.
The newly appointed Executive Director, Project, NDDC, Engr (Dr) Samuel Adjogbe, during the street walk, told the people that a vote for Buhari is a vote for him.
He stressed that if they wanted him to continue to attract development to Delta, they must massively vote for Buhari.
The Director-General of Buhari 4, 000 canvassers in the state and former DG of News Agency of Nigeria, Chief Imma Niboro, while speaking at Otu-Jeremi in Ughelli South, said that it would be a sweet victory for President Buhari come Saturday because a lot of work has been done.
“With the work, we have done so far, President Buhari will get substantial votes in Delta come Saturday; we are very confident of a good outing,” he boasted.
