Breaking: NCAA certifies Lagos airport

The Murtala Muhammed International Airport has become the first of four airports in the country to be certified by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) in line with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) laid down rules.

Speaking at the award ceremony of the certificate at the NCAA head office this afternoon, the Director General of NCAA, Captain Usman Muhtar however said the most important thing was in sustaining the certification.

According to him, the first attempt to certify the airport and others hit the Rockies 2006 leading to a more purposeful coordinator to scale the hurdle.
