The Lagos State House of Assembly has screened eleven commissioner-nominees for the Lagos State Executive Council, Lagos State Civil Service Commission and Lagos State House of Assembly Commission.
Three nominees were screened for the Executive Council, five were screened for Lagos State Civil Service Commission and three for Lagos State House of Assembly Commission(LAHASCOM).
Ganiyu Adele Ayuba, Gbenga Oyerinde and Omotayo Paul were screened for the position of membership of the Executive Council of the State.
Babatunde Seriki, Hodewu Avoseh, Adesina Odeyemi, Olubunmi Fabanwo and Kamarudeen Olorunroje were screened for the position of membership of the Lagos State Civil Service Commission.
Hakeem Bello, Lawal Olajide and Richard Osungboye were screened for the membership of the Lagos State House of Assembly Commission.

Speaking after the conclusion of the screening exercise, The Chairman, House Committee on Screening of Gubernatorial Nominees, Hon. Rotimi Abiru described the exercise as normal as It is within the Assembly’s purview to screen gubernatorial nominees of the Governor for various positions in the state.
Abiru, however, noted that the report will be presented before the larger house for further deliberation.
“It is a normal exercise. The Exercise is within the purview of the Lagos state House of Assembly to screen gubernatorial nominees of the Governor for various positions of the state.
“For today, we have three nominees screened to be part of the Executive Council of the state. We also have five nominees for the Lagos State Civil Service Commission of the state and three for the Lagos State House Of Assembly Commission (LAHASCOM)
“Beyond what we have done today, we shall be transmitting the report to the larger.
“We shall send our report to the larger house for further deliberation for the suitability of their nomination,” He said.
