One hundred and forty Lebanese nationals have been evacuated out of the country via the Murtala Muhammed International Airport following the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
This is just as the Canadian and American governments are set to evacuate their nationals from the country tomorrow, Monday, through the same airport.
The Lebanese were flown out of the Lagos airport by Middle East Airlines (MEA) after undergoing series of screening.
The aircraft which flew into the country under humanitarian arrangement departed the country this evening.
Earlier today, 37 Egyptians were evacuated out of the country through the Sam Mbakwe International airport.
