Exquisite Style

Bow down to the bow slayers!

Published by

Bow has always been in style since time immemorial but was usually common with men when they pair their bow ties with  tuxedo suits. Women have also copied the bow trend by adorning it on their dress as a decotellage. These days, a new era of bow worn by women has emerged. Stylish celebrities, fashion influencers and society women are taking the bow cut to another level by sewing a big and dramatic bow tie with their dress.

This edgy and dramatic bow is sophisticated and sexy all rolled into one.  While Nollywood A-lister, Omotola lived up to her persona as a fashion goddess, when she wore this dramatic blue bow attached dress to a product launch in Lagos, Beverly Naya slayed hearts, when she made a grand entrance at the Africa Movies Academy Award (AMAA), in this stylish pick dress with a big bow sewn at the back. She was all shades of gorgeousness and was given thumbs up by fashion critics.

Their Ghana counterpart, Belinda Effah, also caused a stir when she wore an African Queen-themed ensemble, which consisted of a dramatic bow blouse and skirt sewn with an Ankara fabric and her hair worn in dramatic threads.

Petite –sized Nollywood veteran, Dakore Egbuson, looked like million bucks in a high-end designer dress that has a subtle bow detailing. A dramatic bow dress can really perk things up with your dressing. Why not give it a trial?
