Best way to lose weight

Kindly help confirm if the best way to lose weight is by increasing my daily exercise or by reducing my food intake.

Although exercise is still very important, the best way to lose weight and lower belly fat is mainly by eating a lot less. A daily reduction in food consumption, especially fats, oils and carbohydrates will lead a rapid weight loss.
