Over fourteen thousand security men would be deployed for the Saturday presidential and national assembly elections.
Benue State Commissioner of Police, Omololu Bishi stated this yesterday while addressing newsmen.
Bishi said that the officers deployed last Saturday for the postponed election have all returned to base and were currently been mobilised to go back to their new duty post on Friday for the Saturday election.
The police boss enjoined the people of the state to support the security agents on election duties so as to have hitch-free elections.

The CP also paraded 14 armed robbery suspects who were arrested for various offences, stating that the criminals were arrested in the state during a mop-up patrol put in place by the command to rid the state of criminals.
Some of the armed robbery suspects, Joseph Tersoo alias Adikpo and Demenenge Gabriel Iorwa, all of Logo 1 were said to have operated with a motorcycle behind Bem hotels Makurdi.
The suspects were said to have abducted a lady and took her to Quararafa quarters where they raped and robbed her of a phone and money.
The CP said that the suspects had confessed to the offenses during the police investigation.
In the same vein, Mr Chris Okey Ezike has assumed duty as the new Assistant Inspector General, AIG of police Zone 4 police headquarters in Makurdi.
He is to cover three states comprising of Benue, Nasarawa and Plateau states.
Before his new post, he was the immediate commissioner of Police, Abia state.
