BBNaija recap: Who will leave this Sunday?

Published by

After Big Brother’s unexpected twists on Sunday, he exempted the newly admitted housemates, Michael, KayVee, JMK, and Queen, from playing the Head of House game of chance and nominations on Monday night. The freshly crowned Head of house, Pere, was also immune from nominations as the housemates got to nominate two persons each for possible eviction next week.

At the end of the process, Emmanuel, Saga, and Nini all received three nominations and were all technically up for eviction. Tega received five, Arin received seven, and Princess received eight nominations, securing their place on the chopping block.

As always, the Head of house, Pere, got to save and replace one of the nominated housemates with another. Although he seemed torn between Nini and Saga, he chose to keep Saga and replace him with Saskay. This placed her up for possible nomination alongside Emmanuel, Nini, Tega, Arin and Princess.

Big Brother also used the opportunity to address house issues like – whispering, speaking in hushed tones, and hiding words by talking through the teeth. He reminded the housemates that there are consequences for their behaviour.

The voting lines opened Monday at 8pm and will close on Thursday, 12 August at 9 pm.

If you missed the show last week, here are our BBN Highlights

  1. Beatrice, Yerins and Niyi were evicted out of the five housemates that were put up for eviction, while White Money and Yusuf were saved by the fans.
  2. In a surprising twist, Big Brother added four new housemates –Michael, Kayvee, JMK, and Queen, to the house during the eviction show, a development which shocked both the existing housemates and viewers alike.
  3. Some needed drama finally found its way into the house after some of the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ housemates got into quarrels with one another.
  4. Fans of BBN can expect more drama and competition with the addition of the new housemates as tension continues to rise in the house due to the nominations.
  5. Queen seems to have her eyes set on Boma, while also confessing her preference for Pere and WhiteMoney.
  6. Many females feel threatened by JMK who has been enjoying the attention of the boys. Also Jackie B seems to have switched her attention to newbie, Michael.
  7. Fans seem to be fed up with Arin, accusing her of being a serial gossip. Nini also may have incurred the wrath of BBN fans, with various reactions of jubilation after Monday’s eviction nomination.
  8. Pere has gone military mode on the housemates after the altercation between Queen and Maria. How this will affect his game will be seen in the coming days/weeks.

Who goes home this Sunday, who stays and whose game will change? All will be revealed on Sunday.
