Bauchi gov heads Edo PDP congress electoral committee

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the nomination of Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, as Chairman of the Edo State gubernatorial primary election committee.

The Committee is mandated to conduct the primary election that will elect the party’s flagbearer in Edo State, for the upcoming 2020 Governorship Election.

According to a press release signed by Col Austin Akobundu (rtd), National Organising Secretary of the PDP, The exercise is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2020, in Benin City the capital of Edo State.

The release contained that the composition of the committee has Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed as Chairman, Engr Seyi Makinde, Bello Mutawallen Maradaun and Sen. Lilian Uche Ekwunife as members while Hon Solomon Bulus Maren is to serve as the Secretary.
