The Bauchi State Drugs and Medical Consumables Agency (BADMCA) has distributed drugs and other hospital consumables worth millions of naira to general hospitals across the state.
Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Agency, Pharmacist Abdulkadir Ahmad, while making the formal presentation, said that gesture was part of the State Governor’s, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir’s, continuous efforts to reinvigorate the health sector in the state.
He charged the management of the general hospitals across the state to make the best use of the items, saying that the government has put in place the necessary mechanisms to supervise the distribution.
Abdulkadir Ahmad commended Governor Bala Mohammed for his support and requested more, saying that the administration has ensured prompt distribution of drugs and other consumables to all the general hospitals.
