This is to urge Honourable Kazeem Gbadamosi that he has been sworn into the office as the executive chairman of Lagelu Local Government by Governor Seyi Makinde, to meet the expectations of the people by impacting lives in his local government area by solving various local challenges facing the people.
Honourable Gbadamosi is said to be an experienced and a listening politician according to those who know him. In simply wish to. We urge him not to let the people down and to focus attention on the grassroots by embarking on projects that will continue to speak for him after leaving office.
I will like to call his attention to the neglected road from Aboke to Onireke Alapata off Olorunda Abba, Ojuirin Akobo, Ibadan which falls under Lagelu local government. This stretch of road needs to be rehabilitated, though an individual has spent his hard-earned money to the tune of three million naira to construct the Onireke Alapata Bridge for the community, the work is still on-going on the said bridge project.
It is in view of this that we are pleading with the chairman to use his good offices to construct the road from Aboke to Onireke Alapata road. If this is done, it will complement the good work of the said individual and this will also add to the laudable achievement of the chairman.
It is the responsibility of government to construct roads for the people and the people will not forget any official that does his work well.
Barrister Jimoh Mumin,
Ibadan.
