For his intervention in power supply, infrastructure development and financial facilities provided by the Lagos State government, especially, in Epe Local Government Area of the state, artisans and tradesmen, under the aegis of Lagos State Council of Tradesmen and Artisans (LASCOTA), has enjoined Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to ensure completion of all the ongoing projects in the community.
While drumming support for Ambode’s second term bid in office, the group which staged a rally in Epe last week, said the best way for the governor to complete the ongoing projects is to get second term endorsement.
The association’s president, Alhaji Babatunde Ogonbule, who addressed the media, hinged his plea for support for Ambode, based “on the quantum of works being done in Epe axis”.
“What we are witnessing in Epe in the area of infrastructure development is massive. Besides, as craftsmen and artisans, Ambode’s intervention in power supply is unprecedented and helpful in plying our trades, because for close to 16 years, Epe township was in total darkness, but we are very happy that the governor facilitated the connection of electricity to 67 communities in Epe and its environs”, he said.

The group also commended the governor for the provision of soft loan, through the Lagos State Empowerment Trust Fund (LSETF), which the group claimed that its members immensely benefited from.
“With all these interventions, we believe Governor Ambode deserves the second term in office”, the group concluded.
