The Court of Appeal, Abuja Division on Monday ordered a stay of execution of the ruling of a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory suspending the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, pending the hearing and determination of a motion on notice filed by Oshiomhole to challenge his suspension.

Delivering ruling in an ex-parte application filed by Oshiomhole, through his counsel, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), a three-member panel of justices of the appellate court restrained the respondents in the ex-parte application from giving effect to the Abuja High Court ruling delivered on March 4, 2020.
Justice Abubakar Yahaya Dattijo who delivered the ruling told politicians to try and resolve their differences without involving the court at all times.
